Your aircraft, managed like our own.
Personalized, founder-led aircraft management based at Butler Airport. We handle every detail of owning a private aircraft — operations, maintenance, crew, compliance, and economics — so you can focus on where you're going, not how you're getting there.
The Alpha Three Difference
Most aircraft management companies are scaled for size — large fleets, layered support teams, regional offices. We were built differently. Alpha Three is small on purpose. When you call us, you reach the people running the operation. When a decision needs to be made about your aircraft, it gets made by someone who knows your aircraft.
That's not a marketing claim. It's the structure of the company.
What We Do
Everything between hangar and destination.
Operational Oversight
We manage personal flight scheduling, crew assignments, charter coordination, and day-of-flight dispatch. Trip planning runs through Jet Insight, a web-based operations platform that tracks scheduling requests, crew qualifications, expenses, and aircraft status in one place.
Maintenance Management
We coordinate scheduled inspections, unscheduled work, airworthiness directives, and shop logistics through our network of trusted Citation-qualified maintenance partners — including Lechene Aviation in Indiana, PA, for major inspections and Air Quest on-field at Butler for line work.
We're based at Butler Airport (KBTP) in western Pennsylvania, where Alpha Three maintains a dedicated office and passenger lounge in the same building as Serventi's Restaurant. When Butler isn't convenient, we'll reposition the aircraft to pick you up at the airport closest to you. That's not a premium upcharge — that's the service.
Private Owner Lounge — At KBTP, adjacent to Serventi's
Repositioning Flights — Pickup from your preferred airport
On-Field Maintenance — Air Quest at KBTP; Lechene for major inspections
Financial Stewardship
Comprehensive bookkeeping, expense categorization, and charter revenue accounting — all delivered in a monthly owner's report that shows what your aircraft cost, what it earned, and what's ahead.
"We're built around how owners actually want to be treated — direct, transparent, and without the layers of process that come with a larger operation."

Owning a private aircraft is the easy part.
A private aircraft is one of the most capable assets an individual can own — and one of the most operationally demanding. Between flight crew, scheduled inspections, FAA compliance, insurance, fuel contracts, hangar logistics, and the dozens of decisions that come up between trips, the work of operating an aircraft can quickly overtake the joy of using one.
That's what aircraft management is for. A management company assumes the operational burden of ownership — handling everything from pre-flight scheduling to long-term maintenance planning — and reports back to you with full transparency. Done well, it turns your aircraft from a complicated asset into a simple one: you decide where you want to go, and the rest is handled.
You Fly. We Manage.
Founder-led. Owner-focused. On purpose.
Forge Ahead
If you're considering aircraft management — or reconsidering your current arrangement — start with a direct conversation. No sales team. No deck. Just a call.
How We Operate
The standards that make the difference
The Crew
Every Alpha Three captain comes from an airline background, holds multiple type ratings, and brings tens of thousands of flight hours. Every trip flies with two pilots — a higher standard than the FAA requires, and non-negotiable for us.
Safety Management
Alpha Three operates under a Safety Management System approved in our General Operations Manual. SMS governs crew currency, weather minimums, fatigue tracking, and risk assessment — across the entire operational system, not just the flight deck.
Jet Insight Platform
Every aspect of our operation runs through Jet Insight: scheduling, crew qualifications, maintenance, expenses, and bookkeeping. Your monthly owner's report is built from the same source-of-truth data we use to operate your aircraft every day.
The Owner’s Report
Monthly view of your Aircraft
At the end of every month, you receive a single comprehensive report covering flight activity, maintenance and inspection status, expenses against budget, and forward projections.
We don't bury costs in shared overhead or average them across a fleet. The report shows your aircraft, your trips, your numbers — and where charter revenue is offsetting your fixed costs.
Trip-by-trip flight activity log
Maintenance and inspection status with forecasted due dates
Detailed expense breakdown vs. budget
Charter revenue and net cost-of-flying analysis
Forward projections for budgeting and planning
